The Communications team provides specialized services across the spectrum of communications and marketing from research, writing, editing and developing communications materials for both internal and external audiences including news releases, key messages, social media and web content; and coordinating and producing communications strategies and speaking notes.
The Research team is responsible for providing policy expertise, identifying gaps and issues, and developing policies and recommendations of viable policy solutions that are aligned with UCP Caucus strategic priorities and objectives. The team conducts research and analysis of relevant information and data for UCP Caucus initiatives; establishes and maintains internal and external stakeholder relationships; evaluates the efficacy of public policies; and communicates and presents findings and strategic considerations effectively.
Legislative Coordinators provide timely and useful services, products and professional support to UCP Members of the Legislative Assembly. This generally involves scheduling, drafting correspondence, office administration, speechwriting, attending meetings and events with MLAs, supporting MLAs with their social media accounts and newsletters, and assisting in the development of private member bills and motions.
