The Honorable Nathan Neudorf was first elected to the Alberta Legislature in April 2019 and reelected
in May 2023 to represent Lethbridge-East. Before entering public life, he spent nearly 30
years in the commercial and residential construction industry as a Red Seal journeyman
carpenter, Gold Seal project manager, and business owner. He earned a Civil and Structural
Engineering Diploma from BCIT in 1994 and held several leadership roles, including President
of the Lethbridge Construction Association and board member of provincial construction, safety,
and workers’ compensation organizations.
Following his election, Mr. Neudorf served as Chair of the United Conservative Caucus and
chaired the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future. From October 2022 to June
2023, he served as Deputy Premier, Minister of Infrastructure, and Minister of Affordability and Utilities. Since May of 2026, he has been Minister of Assisted Living and Social Services.
A longtime community volunteer and coach, Mr. Neudorf and his wife Deanne have lived in
southern Alberta for more than 30 years and raised their family with deep roots in Lethbridge,
where all five of their children started their education and where their family continues to call
home.
