Jackie Lovely was first elected in 2019 and she was re-elected in 2023 in the riding of Camrose.

Before entering provincial politics, Lovely obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan, a diploma in hotel and restaurant administration from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, and a Masters in Business Administration from Cape Breton University. After this she held multiple positions across many industries, including not-for-profit, education, and business sectors.

Since being elected to the Alberta Legislature, Lovely has served as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Associate Minister for the Status of Women from 2021-22, and has held roles on a number of Legislative committees. Currently, she sits on the Standing Committee of Legislative Offices, the Standing Committee on Private Bills, the Standing Committee on Public Accounts, and serves as Chair of the Committee on Families and Communities, and the Economic Diversification Cabinet Policy Committee. Lovely has also introduced two Private Members Bills to the Legislature, Bill 216, the Fire Prevention and Fire Services Recognition Act, and Bill 205, the Official Sport of Alberta Act.

She lives in Camrose and is the mother of 2 adult children.
