Ron Wiebe is a lifelong entrepreneur and businessmen who has been involved in several businesses in the transportation industry. Ron has been heavily involved in his community as a municipal councilor, on the Board of Governors for Northwest Polytechnic, as a board member of the Northwest Corridor Development Corp, on local school boards, and on the boards of several non-profit organizations across Alberta.

On May 29, 2023, Ron was elected to represent the people of Grande Prairie-Wapiti in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. He is currently Parliamentary Secretary for Rural Health (North).
