Peter Singh was first elected in 2019 and he was re-elected in 2023 in the riding of Calgary-East.
Prior to serving in the Legislative Assembly, Peter owned and operated a small automotive repair business in Calgary for over 20 years. He served as president and vice-president of the Fiji Canada Association between 2007 and 2008. He has also coached soccer teams for children under the age of 14. In 2005,
Peter was recognized for his volunteer contributions with an Alberta Centennial Medal. Born in the Fiji Islands, Peter speaks Hindi fluently.
He and his wife have two children, and in his spare time he enjoys playing golf.
