Ensuring Gravel Pits Remain Functional In Alberta

The entire construction industry nearly came to a grinding halt!

There would have been a major sand and gravel shortage, if we did not get this bill passed through the house.

Sometimes the best bills are the ones you never hear about in the newspapers.

We have a lot of opportunities for frac sand. It’s kind of a little-known effect, actually, that essentially 70 per cent of the frac sands that we bring in are actually imported from the United States.

We have two geological formations, being the Wisconsin formation or down in Texas. Here is a part of our economy being diversified.
