Dale Nally was first elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Morinville-St. Albert on April 16, 2019 and was re-elected on May 29, 2023.
Dale Nally was sworn in as Minister of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction on October 24, 2022. He previously served as the Associate Minister of Natural Gas and Electricity, where he played a key role in advancing Alberta’s energy sector, including leading the development of the province’s petrochemical incentive program.
Prior to his service as an elected official, Mr. Nally spent decades in the private sector, where he led and managed business units that generate between $50 million and $80 million in revenue. He has a Masters Degree in Education.
In his current role, he leads Alberta’s efforts to reduce regulatory burden and improve the way government works for people and businesses. These efforts have saved Albertans and businesses more than $3 billion since 2019 and have contributed to Alberta being recognized by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business as Canada’s leading jurisdiction for red tape reduction for five consecutive years.
