Scott Sinclair is a husband, a father to two daughters, a small business owner, and a fifth-generation Indigenous entrepreneur, owning and operating two small businesses.
Scott has lived and worked in Lesser Slave Lake for almost his entire life. A decorated hockey player, Scott won a Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League championship, before coming back home to coach hockey and win “coach of the year” honours in the North West Junior Hockey League. Scott pursued public office to help keep Alberta’s economy strong and to be a role model for the next generation of Indigenous leaders. Scott’s grandfather, Sam Sinclair, was the President of the Métis Nation of Alberta for ten years and the President of the National Aboriginal Veterans Association.
On May 29, 2023, Scott was elected to represent the people of Lesser Slave Lake in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.
