Jennifer Johnson was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Lacombe-Ponoka on May 29, 2023. She currently serves on the Standing Committee on Private Bills, the Standing Committee on Public Accounts, and the Standing Committee on Families and Communities.

Before entering public service, Mrs. Johnson worked as a registered nurse and has owned and operated a successful prairie fruit orchard since 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alberta.
Active in her community, she has served as a director with the Bentley Agricultural Society, chaired the Bentley and Area Multi-use Facility Building Society, and led the Bentley 4-H Multiclub.

She is also a published children’s author and has received multiple awards recognizing her commitment to education and family.
